Museum tour
Work is displayed around the room like an exhibition. Groups move from one display to the next, give structured feedback, and take away ideas: appreciation and comparison in one.
How the method works
- 1
Display learning outcomes (posters, solutions, models) at stations around the room.
- 2
Clarify the observation or feedback task: What should we look for? How should we comment?
- 3
Groups rotate on a timer (3 to 5 minutes per station), leaving feedback cards or sticky dots.
- 4
Back to your own product: review the feedback and formulate two takeaways.
- 5
Quick whole-class discussion: What was the most powerful idea you saw?
Material
- Learning outcomes
- Feedback cards
- Adhesive dots
You can find free, ready-made worksheets for the work phase in the TeachPie Marketplace , sorted by subject and grade, in three levels.
Common pitfalls in practice
- Clarify the observation task and routes in advance
Variants
- With a museum guide: One group member stays by their own exhibit and explains it.
- Gallery critique: Give feedback based only on two agreed criteria (“two stars and a wish”).
In TeachPie, the planning AI suggests Museum tour automatically when it fits the phase, timing, and class, including ready-to-use materials.
